My story
About Me
I build technology that helps people make better decisions.
Today, I lead enterprise AI and data initiatives for a large national primary care organization. My work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, analytics, software development, and business strategy.
My teams build modern data platforms, enterprise AI capabilities, automation, and analytical products that support clinicians, executives, and operational leaders across the organization.
But I did not start my career in technology.
I spent more than a decade in hospitality, where I learned the importance of excellent service, effective teams, and creating experiences that people genuinely value. Hotels teach an important lesson: every process ultimately exists to serve a person. That perspective continues to shape how I approach technology today.
My introduction to analytics was surprisingly simple. I began tracking guest survey scores in an Excel spreadsheet and looking for patterns. Which department performed best? Who showed the greatest month-over-month improvement? What separated the highest-performing properties from the rest?
Those questions led me deeper into customer feedback platforms, Net Promoter Score, data visualization, and predictive analytics. Before long, curiosity had become a career.
Today, my work spans AI strategy, enterprise analytics, semantic data modeling, cloud data platforms, automation, and software engineering. I particularly enjoy translating complex technical problems into practical tools that people can understand, trust, and actually use.
My professional toolkit includes Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Sigma, and modern AI technologies. I also continue to enjoy building for the web. This site is hand-coded: I don't work with HTML ordinarily but it's fun to build something, and I like understanding how things work from top to bottom.
Outside of work, you will usually find me reading, playing guitar, exploring Florida with my family, or experimenting with new technology simply because I enjoy learning.
